By a furlong, Stallion Mountain Country Club is the finest 54-hole private golf facility in Las Vegas. Stallion Mountain Country Club is the trifecta of Las Vegas golf so bet big because the odds are with you here. The Man O' War course was the first built at Stallion Mountain and was a host course in 1991 for the PGA Tour's Las Vegas Invitational. Chip Beck shot a 59 that year, joining Al Geiberger (at the time) as the only men in history to shoot that score. Recently, Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley redesigned it, creating a distinctive layout with undulating greens guarded by bunkering. The course stretches to almost 7,000 yards from the back tees.
The Citation course was the second of the three courses to be built at Stallion Mountain when Senior PGA Tour star Jim Colbert built the property that was eventually purchased by Walters Golf. The 6,700-yard layout is a traditional design that features generous landing areas, ample water features and strategic bunkering. Views of Sunrise Mountain abound throughout the round.
Secretariat is one of three distinctly different 18-hole championship golf courses at Stallion Mountain Country Club, and is considered to be of the finest layouts in the area. Challenging holes play over lakes, offering tremendous shot values and vistas. The course measures a staunch 7,223 yards from the tips but several tee box positions are available.
